Default Max cam shimming?

I am currently doing a top end build on my 91 FXR, 80in Evo using a wood W6 and I found their to be .107 of cam end play. This seems like allot to me if I am going to stay in the .015 area. Anyone seen this type of end play on a cam before? What did you do and what was the outcome. Thanks
