Default need some help here please

Rode the bike a little bit and noticed that some salt from the roads got on it...got home and hosed it down to get that crap off...started the bike to get some of the moisture out...it ran a little "choppy" but seemed somewhat fine..now today bike won't start at all....it will try to crank but won't start! it was running fine up until i lightly hosed it down...what should i check??? the motor is from a 98 softball with a s&s carb...

take the cover off the cone if you hosed it HOT -- it is wet inside - let it dry or spray with WD 40 and all the plug ends and the module connection spray all of them then try it

If you have compressed air , blow out all primary and secondary electrical components .
Wait until dark and have a helper do the starting procedure while you look for electrical arcing . Coil or plug connectors are probably arcing out.

Did you ever get it started?> Dielectric grease works very well for all electrical connections as well...
