A buddy of mine recently picked up a 92 FXR.
He thinks he has access to an original T-Sport
fairing. Those are big bucks on ebay.

He says it came off an 02 Dyna Low Rider
So that took some mods - Right?

Is it possible to mount on an FXR? Are the tripple-
trees different?

I'm sure this has been discussed before. I couldn't
find anything specific.

It can be done with a custom headlight bracket. Either that or the T-Sport lower triple tree and that will require a custom fork stop. It all depends on the work he wants to do. Google can be your friend. Lots of T-Sport faring FXR's out there.

Of course it can be made to fit! Will it bolt right up? Who knows - just tell him to get on with it and post pics! As long as he has the mounting hardware it should be possible to adapt it as required. I had a T-Sport for a few years, lovely bike after a few modest mods.
