Default Not handily

My bike is stored else where (totally bumbs me out but have no choice) so i can't get pictures that easily. I will be riding on sunday supposed to be 50's plus i will get some pics then. What i can say is the a/c base that bolts to the Big E carb also is bolted with through bolts to the breather plates in the cylinder heads then heads south from there to atmosphere.

The bigger issue of feeding the hot, oily, oxygen depleted air back into the air cleaner is what it does to the performance and longevity of the engine.

Not only will the engine run stronger with only clean, non-oxygen depleted air going into the intake, it will last longer.

Take a look at the pics below-

Here is a LINK to many different options on venting externally, doing your bike a favor.

Thanks Kevin. A picture is worth a thousand words (or a thousand bucks for a rebuild).

I just ran some black hose from the T straight down between the motor and transmission.

I took mine to a T junction then up to the frame then forward and followed the frame all the way to the swing arm and pointed it out so that oil wouldn't get on any part of my bike.

I didn't like the look of a hose just coming straight down.
