Old rider, older still ride just bought
Hi all, noobie to the Evo section, as now I own both a new purchase '93 FLHS and a 2012 RGU from new.
Just picked up the Sport from a neighbor down with health issues, paid $5g for it in pretty clean if unridden for two years condition, 54000 miles, any points I need to spend some time on before putting a great deal of time on the shoulder of the road?

Got back down to the farm today considering to get it state inspected for license, carb went to leaking, needle valve is stuck time for the TLC touches, brake light wants to stick on when use front brake and start switch is kind of iffy, may just have to buy a new bar harness for the switches, JP Cycles has them in stock for $165.

Correction on the switches, found them at Dennis Kirk, in black for $90. Questions;
What have most here with an oldie but goodie like this done for bars? They are OK for now but feel narrow and short compared to what I have had, who still makes for these? Cables and brake lines?
What cautions or heads up info or trade tricks for kitting the carb? small parts kit is on the way since it began leaking out the dribble tube.
