Stator Plug Removal needed to access oil filter?
Just finished changing the oil on my 96' Road King. This is the first time changing the oil filter since I had a new stator installed. The new plug seems to stick out a bit further than my old one.
Normally I can change the filters without touching the stator plug. This time I had to pull the stator plug out to get the old filter off.
Is this normal? I was able to snap the plug back in but it doesn't seem overly tight.

Yep, my bad. Crank sensor. (had stator on the brain since I just had it replaced) It's toast. I'm the one who buggered it. My wife pulled me out of the garage right after I finished changing the oil. Went out this morning and it won't start.
Guess I'll be shopping for a replacement tomorrow. Hopefully I can find one quick. Big trip coming up Friday.
