Default Tour pack for the Road King

Came across a pretty good deal on a tour pack last week I couldn't turn down. Price was right and the color works well and rack came with it. I think I'm going to like the extra storage room with this plus it will give the ole lady better back support.
How many of you guys are running one of these on your Road Kings?

If I had a RK I would sure hunt for one! Got an FLTCU, so the tour pack is built in! And yours looks mighty sharp with one attached!

Compliments the bike nicely, and your passenger is going to love it too.

Called the local dealer Friday after I picked it up and ordered a new tumbler for it to match my key. I was surprised as it only cost $27 and some change. I'll be able to lock it up by this weekend.

I've got a 98 RKC and have a Mutazu tourpak on it. Been using it for several years. I like the tourpak but the Mutazu is not very high quality. I bought a fiberglass shell tour pak and am going to build one from the ground up as soon as I get my lazy *** to doing it. I've got black hinges and latches, a lock, a rack, and a couple other things for it already bought. I think all I need is a gasket and I should be ready to mount everything and paint it.

I have leather bags on my Road King and getting them open without interfering with the tour pak meant I had to have a special bracket made to get mine up high enough to clear the bags when they are open. I had one made out of stainless steel. Only cost $40.

Shovelhead Tourpack, friend wanted $50 for it and could pass it up. Wife can pack more chit in it than you can imagine.

I paid $300 for this set up. Best price I've seen in a long while in the right color. Most in that price range are beat up pretty bad, this one looks fairly new but it came off a 97 tour glide, it's been sitting in a shed for years. Cleaned up real nice.

Color matched not beat up is a good deal, see a lot of $500 - $600's on old tour packs
