FOR 1986 FXRS - Looks like the housing for the headlight. Looks like the tach has it's own ground.

I wonder if 1985 is the same, and if so, black for ground?

The Headlight & Tach use a BK (Black) wire for the ground.

Negative, this is what I get; CORRUPTED PDF file.

It was my work PC, must have blocked it. Thanks!

hmm that COULD be the problem, as I don't see any black wire coming out from the Tach to the tripe trees?

I believe I found it. Loose wire going into the headlight bucket. I jammed a small piece of rag into it and it's working now. I'll have the Indy fix it when I get it inspected. Thanks for all who helped!!
