Stock fuel line ... Had the brass fitting in plain view and didn't pick it up so you can guess what went next ... Lol yep.. Plastic nipple strikes again !

So how did your plugs look after first mods? I did the same to slide. I'm running the 8 Sportster needle n65c. My jet are 180 and 45. 2.5 turns out on the mixture. I've heard mixed reviews on the 48 in an evo. It is right for the twinkie though. I have a hypercharger and longshots for pipes. I'm getting 47 mpg and the plugs look great.

That's awesome mileage ! Honestly , I've not had the opportunity to check the plugs as i cracked the plastic fuel fitting and had the ominous drip going ... Had a brass one on the shelf and got in a hurry and well.... We all know what assuming it looks ok gets ya ... Well it DIDNT get me anywhere but NOT on two wheels on a 70 degree day in SWOhio in March ... Lol
