Here's the route (308 km) for the 2014 HDF Euro M&G.
Starting in Steingaden and riding counter clockwise into Austria.

Click the image to view the route in Google Maps.

Staying in a Garmisch hotel is a little pricey so I'd suggest to book a room in one of these, both in Steingaden (see map in Google):

Gasthof Graf
Edit: I just noticed this hotel has no rooms available 18/19/20 July!

Gasthof Lindenhof

I sent them an email to ask if they have rooms available 18/19/20 July

- 10 double rooms 58,- EUR a night

Alternative:
- 6 double rooms 58,- EUR a night

- 2 four bed rooms 90,- EUR a night
(the three bed room and four bed room are large double bed rooms with sleeping couch)

Both Zur Post & Zum Strauss have rooms available.

I just booked my room at Zur Post

http://www.gasthof-post-wildsteig.de...e/anfrage.html

Please be so kind to book your own room at Zur Post a.s.a.p. and consider Zum Strauss as a 2nd option.

Thanks for the update, Harry and good to hear you're going to join again!

Bjørn and I are planning to leave on Thursday morning and make a two day trip through scenic German area's down to Steingaden.
The 2 days (Sun & Mon) trip back North will probably lead through the German Schwarzwald and the French Vosgues. You're welcome to join us on these rides as well!

Here's a link to the itinerary South I'm working on. The route back is still "under construction" (pun intended).
