Default 07 cam tensioner shoes

Hi guys, dave in uk, been off the radar for some time due to all manner of things, getting some tc parts together for a custom build, I have a newer style cam plate which has the hydraulic tensioner bodies with it but no shoes, can't find the parts, are these available separately? If yes where from, there are older style shoes available now for changing out so surely the hydraulic ones? Any info appreciated. Thanks. Dave

The shoes are available for separate purchase but being an OEM part, dealer is the only way to purchase. Online discount dealers can no longer ship parts overseas so you are limited to purchase from a local H-D dealer or get a buddy in the US to purchase and send them over.

Zippers has an upgraded tensioner that you could purchase; worth the money.

EDIT: Correction; I referred to "shoes" above but meant to refer to "tensioners"; my bad, poor choice of words. Shoe or tensioner, I refer to either as a unit, did not intend to mislead.

The Zippers would be a good way to get a slightly upgraded part without having to buy a 'kit' from Harley.

Folks here, in the States, could buy the exact parts and ship them to you, too. Have any friends over here?

I tried to buy just the shoes at a local HD dealer, but they didn't list a part number for just the shoes. The only way to get the shoes was to buy the tensioners too.

I don't think they use a "shoe" anymore.
In my '07 UGC parts book....
CHAIN TENSIONER, primary cam drive chain PN 39968-06
CHAIN TENSIONER, secondary cam drive chain PN 39969-06
Maybe what you are looking for?

I believe the plastic "shoes" are part of the tensioner assembly, and cannot be purchase separately from HD.
