Question evo cracked caseing

hey can any body please tell me just what engines i can replace mine with its 1991 electra glide classic im not looking for anthing real fast just good performance and economical also may replace trans to any help will be great by the way i live in a very hot Australia up to 48 degreas Centigrade and my knock sensor melted at only 34 deg C repact it with areldite and by 40 deg it still works but i don.t

There are various options. A secondhand engine from 1989 to around 1992 should fit. You can alternatively have yours 'remanufactured' by the factory, which is actually an exchange. They send you one they built earlier, which will be to an updated spec and also has a warranty. Or there are many aftermarket engines available, from 80" to the sky's the limit! I have an S&S 107" in my 1990 Glide.

You could also have your engine rebuilt into a new set of crankcases, but with labour that can be almost as expensive as the HD reman.

Hey Man,
i recommend for you a Delkron case and build up your self the all other.Always the cheapest and the best way.But the really good engine never cheap.
