Has anyone installed HD part#29850-04 95 inch big bore kit with SE203 cams? The HD parts book lists this kit for 04 to 06 dyna or softail, I want to install it on a 2002 softail std with EFI, any problem?

 

I had a bb kit in my 05 heritage. It didnt turn out good, smoking after a run down the highway, hard to start, took it back to the dealer several times . took it to another dealer,telling them the problems and traded it in ,,,they said they would fix it,,,,, But ive heard of several good builds... It did have alot more go , If iwas going to do it again i would go for the 103''. or buy a new one... I have a 04 heritage now , SE11s, kn filter , SE race tuner, and just put in new cam tensioner plate kit. it runs good soim leaving well enough alone.

 

There could be a good reason why it is not listed for your year. It would be worth contacting a dealer or your local friendly indy to see what they can offer. There are many ways of getting 95" or even a little more!

 

Give Todd a call at Revolution Cycle. Awesome guy, they hooked me up with a sweet 97" BB kit with street ported heads and Andrews gear cam conversion. My Fatboy has some killer street usable torque and hp in the midrange now ! Highly recommend the upgrade !
