Default Samson pipes

Hi, about to fit Samson 2 1/4 sawed off shorties to 1991 Heritage Softail. Pipes have 1 3/4 short header before opening to full 2 1/4 inch. Anyone know if it is advisable to fit anti reversion cones in exhaust port, or might they not be needed? Any help would be much appreciated.

Torque cones will give you about 3-5 more ft lbs of torque especially with a large diameter pipe.
