Default hyd chain tensioners

Anybody convert to gear drive and have a set of cam tensioner shoes off of an 07 and up?

Changed the cam in my 09 Dyna, front shoe is pitted, rear shoe is scored. MoCo wont sell the little nylon shoes separately.

07 and up are hydraulic, earlier are spring loaded...EXCEPT for 06 Dyna which has 07 design

I guess what we need to know is if the shoes themselves are replaceable? And if the older ones are the same dimensions as the new style.,,

Can you elaborate on that? Are they trying to sell you a whole new camplate, or just won't split a pair of shoes?

Can you post a pic? Mild scoring or a few pits would have me putting them back on the bike. (But I haven't seen yours).
There ain't a lot of pressure on those shoes, and they ain't made of that cheap brittle crap like the older models were.

Convert to geardrive? That's considered a downgrade on the 07 and up.

The OP is simply looking for the tensioner pads (i.e the plastic pieces) and not the whole tensioner assembly because it cost $39.95 for the assembly.
