Default Any advice on removing packing material in factory exhaust?

I recently removed the baffles from my factory exhaust on my '10 FLHRC. I'm satisfied with the sound and the performance hasn't been affected to the point I notice anything. I do have one problem though. It looks like I tried to stuff a ditsy blonde in my pipes. After I ride somewhere little blonde chunks of, what I assume is fiberglass packing material, are sticking out of my pipes. Is it possible to burn that crap out? I've heard you can wrap a pipe in a towel, torch it, then stick the pipe in the exhaust to burn up the material. I figured that material would be more fireproof than that considering it is in an exhaust pipe. Any knowledge that could be passed on would be very much appreciated.
