Thanks guys...I'll do that. Same price no matter what size I go with, so 113 it is!

I am having a problem with my 127 that I was hoping someone could help me out with. Ultima ships these motors with the main seal set up for an open belt so I put in a new seal with the lip towards the primary it was ok for a while but soon I was gaining volume in My oil tank. I put in a new seal again and still pulling all the oil out of the primary, anyone run into this problem with an Ultima engine?? I run ATF in the primary as I have an S&S clutch. Having ATF mixed with Motor oil is not a good thing.

Great thread. What primaries and gear boxes are you Ultima motor guys running?
Makes sense to go with the Ultima primary. How about Baker tranys? Expensive I suppose but Im guessing a baker tranny should hold up as long as you own the bike.

Im running the stock 5 speed tranny that came on my 93 evo. I like the gearing better than the 6 speed. Ultima's trannys are made in China.

I don't agree, I have a Baker DD6 running behind the Ultima 127 it does not stand up keeps breaking the circlip on the countershaft end thrust bearing it is now the noisiest transmission I have ever owned so I will be replacing it with the Ultima 6 speed as a few buddies are running these and they had way less problems than I have I think it's much stronger than the Baker besides $600 VS $3000 for the Baker is a joke (5/1)

Default Ultima 113 Ignition System

Ive a 2009 Ultima 113. Yesterday. It stopped running as I was riding down the road. All my lights work, neutral lamp and so forth. Just the engine stopped. I did the resistance checks on my coil and they are in spec. I have no spark at all. I have the Ultima Fixed Curve Single Fire Ignition System ( by Dynatek) Its advanced curves and Rev limiter are pre-set at the factory and do not require any adjustment. On the ignition system. Theres two LEDs. One is green and labled for the voes and the other is red and labled as status. With my ignition switch on. Wouldnt atleast the red LED, the status lamp be lit? Neither LED is lit. I have to remove the sheathing that houses the wires from the unit. There's a place that laid against the exhaust pipe and I'm betting this is where the problem is at. But in the meantime can someone check their unit to see if any of the LEDs I pointed out do illuminate. just make sure the unit you have is the same as mine with two lamps and that it is the fixed unit from the factory and not the ones you can modify.

Red light should be for timing. I believe it should be lit when engine is at TDC on compression stroke.
