You're absolutely right Steve and did I enjoy it hell yeah man Am I hurting No... It's all part of the game.. I'm pretty good with it actually.. Could I have saved myself a few thousand dollars probably but in the end, I made some of the best memories I think I'll ever have with that bike...

Probably not.. I know what kind of power it makes and I'm happy with that.. My best street test hit with a Dragy was 11:37 @117 mph in the quarter mile with the stage two heads and the woods 888 cams, so probably not..

Found a little more evidence as to what led up to it all.. Obviously the rocker plate bolts backed out initiating the whole sequence of events.. It appears the rocker cover kept the bolt from backing out all the way as the first witness marks I found in anything.. You can also see where the rockers themselves hit in several places..
Almost got it all back together, just waiting for the rocker support plate..

So I bolted up my 1.800 intake runners to my stage 2 heads and there was quite a shelf there so I had to hand port the intake runners myself.. I don't have any pictures but I did get a pretty good match especially at the rear of the port where most of the velocity and airflow will be.. I didn't do a lot with the front of the port seeing that most of the airflow is toward the rear of the intake.. better off having a good transition at the rear of the intake to produce a good swirl.. We'll see how it runs I actually took out about .120"...
