Stay tuned for the next M8 wonder. Maybe it can float?
You should stop believing the salesman.. There have been sumping M8s since they were first sold.. Same with twincams..

Made a video of installing it.
Now all the mechanics can cringe at my process.

Good one Fran.. Nice to see you have dirt under the fingernails..

One thing you could have done was lift the bike off the sidestand to get more oil out..

On the total oil issue, I suspect it's mostly measured from the crank sensor. It's position might be a little higher than the oil passage.

Im just glad I didnt crack the case and it's in there at the right depth.
I dont know why I didnt think of standing the bike up. I do that when I pull the oil drain plug.

You obviously missed my sarcasm. I know full well M8s sump. I knew this long ago. But the M8 fanboys insisted M8s didn't sump when I had a one sitting here that did.

M8 Sumpping was caused by.
Oil pump that was not up to the task.

However on some it was cause by the cyl oilers not being seat correctly. In assembly the screws were tightened as far as they would go but still allowed oil to seep .. Not the first time this has happen to HD.

Even with the early oil pumps some did not ever experience a summping issue.
Others after getting the pumps replaced with the HD updated late 2019 version (or aftermarket) still had sumpping they had the oil issue.
It did not effect a huge number of owners and seem to fade as a concern.
