Saw this in passing today, too much crap around it, is that an old Ironhead Sportster engine?

Looks like a big twin shovelhead to me, but what do I know.

Mid 70's FX shovel, piglet motors don't have the aluminium heads.

You are going to have to quantify that comment, in 45 years of living & breathing shovels I've never heard it said.
