So you are saying that because the intake doesn't flow like I want it, I should increase the exhaust valve size?

Yeah that's the way I always understood it.. there's a minimum percentage the exhaust valves need to be to obtain maximum flow and velocity without creating to much reversion.. however I just checked a valve size calculator and a 1.61 should be perfect for the 2.02 intake..

Here are some pics of the current issue. Superflow uses small nylon washers on 2 sides of the particle board as an insulator. They eventually come loose. Once I realized what was happening, I shut the bench down and went looking for the issue. I found one terminal loose and burned.

Those look like 12a vacuum motors... How much Cfm can they produce?

Not sure what a 12a vacuum motor is. Formfactor?

I believe the bench as Ametek MODEL:116297-00 vacuum motors in it..

The bench lists it's capacity at these number below but the graph from the data sheet says one motor will do about 22 inches at 80 cfm. Only 2 motors run at a time.. One set for intake and one set for exhaust.

SF-110 160 cfm (76 l/s) @ 10" (25 cm) of water

12 a is a 12 amp motor.. the one Ametek uses are 7.5 amp.. I remember back a few years vacuum motors were rated by their current draw. 12 amp motors sucked the best... Lol...

Yeah but does one 12 amp motor suck the better than 2 7.5 amp motors? The SF110 runs off one 15 amp plug.

Who knows but it can always be upgraded to a 30 amp circuit.. And not that it would be necessary, I'm sure it's been working great.. I just never saw the inside of one and just noted the vacuum motor and commented..

I think I got the bench working correctly. I tried to get flow up on the heads and didn't have any luck. Sent them off to an expert that is willing to try and fix someone else screwups. Started get the lower end back together in the mean time.. Been busy with other stuff. Got rid of a couple dirt bikes. Working on a gate opener. Fixing other stuff and riding some..

Well, Had a big Foopa and damaged the right case had to make a bearing sleeve, and use a later bearing which has a smaller OD.. It came out fine but took time building fixtures.. Sleeve had to be made out of a 4 inch diameter bar 2 inches long.
Got the heads back and they flow 300 at 28. The guy knows his stuff.
