Default Woods Tw 999-6 vs Tman 590 ps2

Wanted recommendations from those that have any experience with these. I have a dyna

SS 110
10.7 c
Dave Mackie ported heads
springs lift to 600
5.3 injectors
HPI 55 mm TB
current cam TTS 150
thrashin AR 2-1 exhaust
Current numbers: 118hp/ 132 tq - STD smoothing

tts150 isn’t terrible but it’s a bolt in and was thinking either the woods or tman would be an upgrade.

Where are you looking to upgrade your power? Those numbers look pretty good. Without a dyno sheet it's hard to tell where it's coming in and what it's doing as compared to what other camshafts can do cuz that's all you really pretty much going to do is move your power around You might pick up a few horsepower but the T-Man cams IVC a 43 is a little low for 10.7:1. Not sure on the specs of the TT150 cam but the 99s will carry out nicely..

Not going to get better than the TQ you’ve got. You’ll get more squared numbers with either cam upgrade and drop to high 120s in TQ. I’ve done a few of these. But at 10.7 comp you might be in the mid 120s. 999s like more squeeze and the 590 too. If you can’t get to 11:1 the change might feel less throttle response

okay and I thought at 10.7 and up is where those cams shine from what I’ve read.

As Dave said, You probably will lose a little on the torque.. The 999s might get your horsepower up maybe 7 hp without losing too much torque but is it worth $1,000 to retune..
