Engine noise...

Engine noise...
This is my first HD. 2014 Street Glide. I do know that twin cam motors are a loud motor. But, I was just curious if there was a way to kinda quiet down the engine noise. Bike has 35k. Any input would be appreciated. Not so much a knocking noise, just a loud running machine.

Can also be caused by poor lifter "hydrology", or the inability for the lifter itself to maintain correct pressure.
New lifters(?), and/or loading the lifter with an adjustable pushrod correctly, and lastly, the use of the correct engine oil for the ambient air temps, as outlined in the Service manual.

I just installed them yesterday and my god did they work great! Took that annoying tick at 2k rpm away. It was livable with stock cams but once I changed cams it was so loud. Amazing.

I put my Rockouts in Thursday. I had the chatter even at idle. It's whisper quiet now. I'll report back after I get it out on the road. It rained all day yesterday and is 28 with snow flurries today, so it might be a few days. I have no doubt it's going to be quiet throughout the entire range though.
