Default TTS 150 cam?

Does anyone have any experience with this cam? I have a 110 w/ head work and 10.7 c , 55mm TB and a tuner locally highly recommended it. Also heard the woods 777 as another good one. Wondering if there’s any big difference between the two.

Steve Cole has not published the specs for his TTS cams so there is no way to compare the two but you can be sure the two profiles are very different and they are not truly comparable. The dyno results I have seen from the TTS 100 and 150 look very good. Before deciding, call TTS and talk to Steve Cole; he can tell you the difference between the two and whether or not the 150 would be a good fit for your application.

I did a little homework and read that Steve doesn't recommend running the 150 at more than 10.3 static but also read and saw dyno sheets where that cam was run at 10.6 in a couple of 115" and 117" motors.

Yes, we are seeing more and more people running the TTS 150 at higher compression ratio's and they all have very good results. The thing we worry about it hot restarting in our summer conditions here in the SoCA area. We see temperature in the 90 - 105 often and with traffic that keeps you below 15 MPH for extending periods of time. So we test what lives in that type environment when we recommend our numbers. So our numbers are most likely more conservative to meet those needs. I personally rode one that was set at 10.8:1 by a builder and it ran great. The owner did tell me that they had to replace the starter with a high torque version as he had hard hot start issues in high temperatures but that solved it for him.
