You shouldn't.

I had pretty much the exact same set up on my 03 RK and didn't need the upgraded clutch spring....unless you're gonna ride it like a raped ape.

I do beat on this thing pretty damn hard, but I guess I'll ride it first and see what it's like. I know swapping the spring is not hard at all.

There are various ones though, so which one do people usually swap to?

My '00 95" "Stage II" motor still has the original clutch basket, plates, fibers and springs. I don't hammer the bike and at 165,000 miles now the clutch feels the same as when I first got it back in '07 at 23,000 miles. Don't screw with it.

For what it's worth I have an 04 Road King I just did the Fueling cam chest conversion kit with their 525 cams. The Fueling kit is top notch and I couldn't be happier with the difference in the bike. They also gave me a great price break for being a vet.

I would also suggest switching to threaded studs at the two dowl holes.

Looks good! 2 of my buddies did the feuling cam chests in their 103s. I stuck with the original shoe setup with cyco shoes. I looked into feuling stuff, but didnt see enough positives to make me feel comfortable with their stuff, and didnt think a mild cam setup required that much parts backing...but better to have too much than not enough
