I was under the impression that some cams require timing changes, and Smart Tuning will not change timing?

IMHO, I feel that the Street Tuner is so limited that it isn’t capable of PROPERLY tuning an engine even with all SE components. It will get it a bit closer than no tune at all but it is just too limited in capabilities.

any way you could post a pic or part number of the VCI?

Do you have the cables? It needs to interface with a laptop to be able to use it

I think we need to figure out exactly what you have before we can make suggestions to help you

I would think that since the Andrews 48 is very similar to the SE255, the SE 255 Stage whatever calibration could be loaded and Smart Tuned to a final configuration. What am I missing?
That would be the way I would approach it. Load a 255 map, run smart tune sessions until I got the VE change under 5% preferably under 3%, maybe tweak the AFR a little, run some data logs and check for spark knock, make sure it's not pulling massive amounts of timing. Should end up with a halfway decent running street machine

The new version of the street tuner I thought was orange. I do remember a street tuner (I think it was black) that was available back in 2011 when I bought my Lo, but my dealer steered me away from that one because of it's limited adjustability and sold me the Pro Super tuner even though they had no idea of how to "smart tune" with it. Now I use Powervision and it's just a useless piece of plastic that I won't throw away

So I installed the cams and tuned it to stage 2 with SE-255 and 103 big bore. then took it for a ride and recorded the data with the tuner came back and tuned it to that and it seem to run great no popping or backfiring at deceleration and has gets up and goes a lot better than stock

Tell me it ain't so! The Andrews 48 is not an EPA compliant cam and the exhaust is aftermarket!! How is it possible with that POS SEPST? Might even be able to tighten the tune with more data logging and tweaking? Glad to hear the results and if you ever get the bike on a dyno, please post the results.

NICE, you can compare your VE tables before and after to check % of change, Usually takes a few runs to get them less than a 5% change. SE tuner isn't that hard to use just takes a little thought
