Default logging knock counts on front cylinder..

but no knock retarded. registered up to 5 knock counts but no knock retarded. the knock isn't audible but should I be concerned.
the log showed 2 to 5 throughout the entire log on the front cylinder. all zeros on the rear. any ideas on what's going on and what I need to do to address it.
bike has been dyno tuned.
thanks

Does it tell you how many degrees the ecm regarded each knock? I believe it can pull up to 6 or 8.

no engine cylinder runs perfect all the time
i assume your machine uses ion sense which while good, is not perfect either.
if you get a detection but no response, it maybe that the thresh hold has not been crossed so the ecm ignores it.
if the ecu flagged every upset, the check engine light would never go off.

the ecm is not retarding timing during these events.

I'll check my tune to see what the thresh hold is.
I have bern looking at the timing on both cylinders and the rear has more timing than the front and it has no events. I'm going to pull more timing from the front in the areas of the highest knock counts to see if it subsides. funny thing..I been monitoring kr as one of my gauges since I installed the pv and never saw any events. decided to monitor knock counts and all hell is breaking loose. its probably been this way all along.

thanks guys

I would leave it alone. With no audible knock I doubt there’s any risk. Most stock bikes have some and I’ve heard dealers consider this normal. You start pulling timing trying to make perfect, next thing you notice your power in spots has dropped.
