A CV carb is a great carb.
A 42 Mik will edge out a CV by a couple hp, but the CV will have more torque.
Back/back testing showed us that many years ago.

just for the record, i'm not bashing the CV carb, and as most of us know here that is not the issue for the OP. Down here where i am at sea level, the Mik42 and S&S does much better than that, but it has to be in conjunction with the other engine performance mods done.

let us know what happens when you can get it re-tested as is, and maybe with a different exhaust in place.

I was really hoping that this thread would be finished up with the OP making better numbers and showing us if it was a pipe change or not......
