Okay so i have the limits of my vaulve springs now on those SE heads (5.85 max) so Im thinking if I use the 10.5 to 1 with a 2.0 dome I get a comp. Of 10.11 to 1 static with a corrected comp of 9.19 to 1 and cranking comp of 190 @ sea level with the woods 888 cam.
This on a 107 big bore kit from a 07 nighttrain 96.
Anyone see a mistake Im making here?

Are you getting pistons to match the heads?

 

 

If U deck the heads so the chamber goes from 92cc to 87cc 1.5 on piston dome I get 10.55 to 1 static 9.59 to 1 corrected and 200.9 ccp with the 888. Or would you change to a different cam?

 

888’s are nice cams but decking that much you’d need to check clearances. Better to go more piston dome or cam change
