Pre-Ignition Ping

Pre-Ignition Ping
Had my 2016 Road Glide Ultra CVO 110 Dyno'd at the dealer last winter and now am getting a lot of pre-ignition pinging when I throttle up to pass or climb a hill.
Spark plugs indicate that the engine is running lean (plugs are white).
Started having a bunch of engine fault codes and the dealer replaced a bad ECM. I asked about a new dyno and they said that they had transferred the old dyno program to the new ECM and the bike would not need to be redone. I personally don't think that was good as the ECM could have had faults during the last dyno.
Thought on the dyno and pre-ignition pinging???
Thanks in advance for any help!!

As has been posted here many times; dealers don't have a good track record when it comes to tuning. Dealer's typically down load a "map", tweak it a bit and call it good. A proper tune can take up to 4+ hours and many pulls on the dyno; not a good ROI for dealers. Your best bet would be to find a tuner and get a proper tune.
Or, you could try down shifting before charging up that hill.

Spark plugs on modern EFI motors are not that good an indication of mixture. Forget the dealer. The dealer has no leeway in tuning your bike and has to comply with EPA specs. So it will always be too lean.
You didn't say which tuner you have but find a dyno shop with a good rep that knows that tuner and use them.
Meanwhile, the best way to avoid pinging is to downshift.
