Default clutch spring plates

any one know the colour coding on the spring plates. doing engine to 107 I think I have one from my old 2003 electra glide in my 2009 ultra looking through my collection of parts I found 3 spring plates, I did write on one that came with 255 kit 178 kgf plate no colour marks on it, way too stiff . I have one with a yellow dot on it, another with looks like a spec of yellow but not too sure the one in my bike may have red dot but wont know till I yank cover off I think the yellow one may be about 130 kgf one of them should be 117 kgf that came on the bike

I have a 12 FLHTK, doing the compensator right now, stock spring on my bike has 3 yellow markings on it, I believe it’s considered an “Easy Pull” if my information is correct. Personally if I was doing a 107 I think I would go with a new 37951-98 spring.

Default did some digging in old posts

37882-06 (117 KgF) 2006-88”, 2007 thru 2010-96”
37871-04 (135 KgF) 2004-05 88” and 2010 Limited yellow
37871-98A (145 KgF) 1998-2003 may be yellow
37871-98 is reportedly the same as above except cheaper, but although is no longer available may still be in dealer inventories. guessing yellow
37807-03 (165 KgF) 2007 thru 2010-103 ”Police" pink
37951-98 (175 KgF) Current SE no colour

jdw1 I have one of those 175kgf springs, way too stiff without a hydraulic clutch, ok on hyw but if your in town pulling it in constantly its a killer. Ill try one of my yellow ones 135kgf . I had it in before on a 103 kit with 255 cams and mva heads- terrible combo dydnoed at 100 tq and 98 hp hoping my new set up will be close to 120-120

so since I have 2 yellows that probably means I put the 117 kgf back in the bike and one I wrote on 175 kgf hanging on my wall

so looks like Ill pull off primary cover see if there is any dots on it and stick a yellow one in for now to handle the 107 kit. Ill get an aim variable clutch later.. wife thinks ive blown enough money on the motor so far about 3 grand ,

I’ve got the SE Spring, and clutch in my TriGlide, and it isn’t as stiff to pull as my stock ‘17 RoadKing.

Here are some measurements of pressures for various springs.. You can use the thickness to estimate what spring pressures you'll get..
