Default Best oil cooler?

Was looking at getting a HD vertical oil cooler for my 05 Softail but read some reviews that said they leaked and had some issues.

Is Jaggs any good? Another brand?

Thanks.

I have about 30,000 miles on my Jagg 10 row with fan. No leaking, and no issues.

Pretty subjective, but someone I know and trust who is a engine builder swears by Oil Bud or Moore Sensibile Oil Cooler.

I've only had the HD one in the past and it's not on the bike anymore. I'll be looking for one this summer again too.

Jagg makes a good oil cooler and so does Oil Bud but don't forget Lockhart. Lockhart has been around for decades and has always been one of the best out there. They came standard or as an option on some Harley models for years.

jagg or hd is fine.

i run a fan assisted jagg on my dyna and an hd premium on my sporty. both had leaks.... both of those leaks [were] CAUSED BY ME. (improper installation)

either is fine. jagg used to make oil coolers for hd. Maybe reach out to Jagg/Setrab and speak to Marvin, 740-625-6228, they will set you up or, at least, give you information to make a sound decision

Ultracool makes one too. Depends on the look you are after.

After hearing recommendations and doing some research I believe the Jagg 10 is the best choice. They recommend the 10 fin for anything over 95ci so that will be what I go with.

Thanks to all for your input and info.

Pretty sure Lockhart oil coolers bellied up in the 80's.
