Default Think I might of gotten ripped off

Question, I'm not a motorhead, but I like performance, I had a Indy garage mechanic upgrade my 96 to a 107 a couple of years ago, I was outrun by a 88 ci. and my buddy's 110 cleans me up, which makes me believe things aren't right. Here is my setup
Cams: TW9B-6
Heads level B
Pistons-domed 10.5
Thundermax
HPI 55mm
5.3 injectors
Rineharts 3-1/2 true duals

Had the bike dynoed, results were 103HP TQ111
I know the pistons were 107 I purchased them, and paid for the bore work.
Same with the Heads
How can I tell about the cams, to see if he put the cams I purchased or maybe he liked them and put them in his bike.
Part of my suspensions are I caught him swapping my radio for his in his bike, so this leads me to believe he is not very honest.

thanks for any comments on the build.

Couple things : those true duals are killing your power. Possible but less likely is those level B heads have been known in some circles to really underperform. Next is that tmax if only auto tuned is leaving #s on the table.
You should start w a compression check. I know what the 9B sounds like so either post a vid or pull the cam plate and see what they are.

the only way to tell about the cams is open the cam chest and oil pump, if your not up to that task find another indy to do it....but at 103 HP I'd say you DO have some kind of cam in there as I don't think you'd get that with the stock cams.......gonna cost as they down work for free, but it will be your piece of mind to put at ease.........and stay the hell away from that guy that changes out radios.....what a douche!!

Regardless of the motor, the fact you know he tried swapping radios behind your back is really scummy. I wouldn't let the person near my bike after that. Good luck op figuring out if he was honest with your motor and I agree that duals kinda loose some power compared to a good 2 into 1.

I'd have to say, if the dude was swapping radios (his for yours) and that wasn't a "sign"...what else do you need? The guy's a turd and probably "said" he did the work...now have him prove it.

He's ( Indy ) living in your head right now ... Only way to evict him is to open it up and look.

Best bet would be to take it to a reputable builder and have him dissect the engine with pictures and then give you the information. After that, the builder can build you a 107 or a 110.

With out a doubt. Open the cam chest, Woods Id's their cams.. But before doing so, do a compression test.. to confirm the rest of the build. Just so you know 10.5:1 is a little soft for your 50* ivc @190 psi ccp..... A real good build would have been set to 11.0:1. Those numbers are a little low for your build.... And yes as Dave says the Level b heads are known leave a little performance under the table...
