Nice catch...that bearing was about to disintegrate. Did you hear any new noises or just went for maintenance? When I changed my lifters the one roller had a line worn in it..not deep but enough to feel with your finger nail. I pulled the new ones again while adjusting the pushrods and the lifter in the same spot had gotten the line grooved into. I found out that the po had a bearing go bad and had it repaired under warranty which makes me wonder if the cam has some damage on that lobe...the dealer that did the work is notorious for short cutting in house warranty work. I'm pulling mine apart soon and it'll be interesting to see what's going on...good luck with your repairs
Never expected to see this, bike was running and sounding great, just decided to upgrade cams fo more torque. I have changed oil at 2500 and used synthetic.
I've heard about quite a few of those going and when it does it can be catastrophic... Glad to hear your's didn't end up that way.... So you have a 103.. What cams?

Went with the Cyclerama 570-2. Been out riding, definitely a different bike. Just running a canned map for now. I have a ThunderMax, map they recommend seems good for now. But Defiantly feel a difference.
