Default 103 Cam Install Parts

Installing new cams in my 2015 Road Glide Special over the winter. Bike has 14k miles on it. Besides cam bearings what else is recommended to be replaced? I’m pulling the rocker boxes off to be powder coated. Is there a performance benefit from adjustable pushrods? Thanks

If your pulling the rocker covers no point of wasting money on adjustable push rods only a couple of bolts to remove the rocker arms and pull the stock ones out

Re-using the stock pushrods or not really depends on which cams you are installing

Cams are Andrews 57H. With 14k miles is it necessary to change lifters?

Default While in

Put in s&s lifters some time of adjustable pushrods. Cam bearings. Check inner and outer cam drive chain shoes
Harley lifters are junk and will bleed down and tap like crazy

You should change the lifters while you're in there. You can run either stock or adjustable pushrods with the 57... I've gone both ways.

Oh, and one more thing...

Have you considered a .030 head gasket with that cam... A little time and $100 gasket set should pick up the ccp from 186 to 191psi... very good street manners.... Would love to see the outcome of your cam addition.. Start a thread..
