Default Loosening intake manifold bolts

Doing a conversion to S&S Super E carb.... got three of the stock intake manifold bolts loose, but 4th one won't budge.... tried multiple penetrants, applied heat (only can fit a butane torch in the space), but still seized- afraid of stripping out the Allen head with too much torque...
Any suggestions?
Thanks

Not good dude. Can you get some vice grips on it? If the socket head is stripped it's destroyed anyways. Any way to get maybe a drift pin or long chisel ground to a round point so you can hammer it a few times? Sometimes drastic problems call for drastic measures. I had a seized bolt once and a friend made like an impact gun with his hand held hammer and it actually loosened it up? Good luck. Let us know what works.

sometimes i have had to take a very sharp small chisel to it. first strike straight on the head, to cut a groove to grab, second strike on an angle to turn the bolt loose. it has worked for me frequently,,,sometimes i use a really small chisel that will fit in a small (usually 5/16) deep 1/4 inch socket and use a 1/4 extension so i can get the reach and angle it want.

If it's the ride side bolt that is giving you problems, are you using the special Allen Wrench for the bolt?

That's why I use these. Replace the OEM bolts with these; easier to R/R. Use a dab of anti seize.

How to you get a wrench on them?

I use the ARP on the left side but get the hex top instead of the 12 pointer. That way you can get an open end wrench on them.. Right side still gets socket-head cap screws.. Blue Locktite... These bolts don't need to be real tight.. I suspect that the originals have a locktite patch which makes them hard to get loose.

I have not had any issued getting a small box end wrench on them but have only used them on my carbed '02 FLHT. I am getting ready to rebuild my 95" '05 FXSTD so I don't know if they will work as well with the T/B and associated hardware in the way.
