Default Engine Builders, Houston TX area

Looking for a recommendation on an engine builder in the Houston Texas area.

Engine is a TC96 in a 2010 Xbones. Stage 1 but stock from other than that.

I would like to go up to at least 106". Don't want to have to do other major upgrades if possible.

Help is much appreciated.

I've no personal experience with him, but give Jim's in Alvin a shout.

There's Iron Mike's in Bacliff, too.

If Burt Cherry is still at Republic HD in Stafford and you can get the Service Manager (Burt might be the Service Manager now) to agree that Burt is the only one to work on your bike, you might swing by Republic and see if Burt is available. Burt is top notch and has been doing this for about 15 years; he is also an excellent tuner.

103" is possible with HD parts but if 107" is the target, you will need to provide cylinders and pistons. Increasing displacement without cams and/or head work will wake things up but you are leaving a lot of performance on the table by not at least installing a set of cams that will play well with a Stage 1 103"/107" motor; head work would be plus. JMHO.
