Default Are these leaks unusual ?????

Are head leaks a common problem with Harley's ? I have just over 1k miles and noticed a ticking sound, got closer and saw this.

My roadster had the similar looking leaks around the bolts at 100 miles from new but I cleaned them up and they never came back and I am at 1100 miles now.

Wipe them both clean and see if they come back. I'd be more concerned with the lower leak cause you gotta pull the tank, heads, and cylinders just to get to it. And by that time might as well bore the jugs and get beadwork done while it's all off...lol.

Most likely assembly lube oozing. But ask at your service.

If it's a brand new bike or it's been rebuilt you'll get oil from the head nuts because they are suppose to be lubed before torquing. Cylinder ban be assy lube or oil. Could also be a leak so you need to clean and recheck.. (both are already mentioned).. They can leak after some time tho.. O rings get hard..
