I have a 2010 streetglide and the front cylinder is started making a strange noise at idle. Has anyone ever heard a motor sound like this? any ideas?? thanks for the help
Do you have upgraded cams in your bike?
Sounds like reversion.. but on mine it's a single " wooden drum" sound.
I hear a double tap noise in your vid.
Have you checked all your heat shields and what not for loose bolts?
No it's not hitting the frame it's more like a air type of noise strange. I had a new top end put on it 3000 miles ago I hope it's not a top end again.
I just changed the pipes so I did think about that and did crank them down but I may put new exhaust gaskets on there. I changed them out when i put the new pipes but Im going to start over again. thanks
I would take it to a local Indy and let them hear it at the least. I know that when I lap valves into their seats it sounds very similar. That cluck sounds similar to reversion that you get with some cams... Woods cams are noted for that.... Take the a/c off and see if it gets louder.....
