Default 95 inch build list

What do you all think of this build list for a carbureted 2005 fxdx?

Ignition will be tuned with Daytona twin tech tc88a tuner

Going to have the heads cnc ported with 1.900 intake valves and stock exhaust valves with mag bronze guides and new seals
Heads are being done by JW performance and he is going to port match the intake manifold to the heads

Harley 22661-99a cast 10.25 compression 95 inch pistons

Kirby at vee twin performance is going to bore and hone my cylinders for $125

Cyco TE-1550mls40 top end gaskit kit

Fueling reaper 543 gear drive cams (bikes already converted to gear drive by previous owner)

S&S cam install kit for gear drive cams

Premium carb kit for stock cv carb from cv performance

Should be able to reuse the pushrods that are in there now with the s&s 510 cams

Looking for suggestions on budget lifters.

Is there anything I an either missing or would be better replacing wjtgir a real cost increase?

Don't know much about the Fueling Reaper cam but TMan 555 Torkster, S&S 570, Cyclerama 575 and a couple of others come to mind that you can find published performance data on (not sure if all are available in gear drive though). I don't believe CYCO offers a .030" head gasket but that would be better than the .040". Whoever tunes the motor should make sure that the DTT settings and AFR are in a good place before too much dyno or road time for break in. Very important for a new motor.

Probably going to be joe Lyons tuning it. He will be able to get me close to with jetting and dtt settings for me to do the heat cycles then I'll trailer it to his shop for dyno tuning before any riding.

Cyco does offer a 30 head gasket in the same kit just different prt number for the 95 inch

Good to know. It has been a while since I bought from CYCO and they were not offering a .030" for the 3.875" bore at that time. I need to check again to see if they offer one for the 3.938" bore.

That dyno chart you posted did not mention heads or compression and is an EFI motor. A carbed motor cannot be tuned as tightly as an EFI motor but I wish you well with those cams.

TTS is the Mastertune; pretty sure it's fuel injected.
