Default disabling factory set speed limiter

I wanted to baseline dyno my present 2014 103HO engine combo before proceeding with some upgrades this winter. It is my understanding that international models that the ecu is set for a 110mph limit. This showed upd showed up on the dyno runs as the engine shutdown at 110 mph in fifth gear at 4300 rpm.
Is it as simple as unplugging the VSS on the transmission (will that set a code) or does the limit need to be changed in the ecu?

Thanks
Jerry

Aren't Canadian bikes considered north American and not international? Maybe the newer ones are different. On a side note how fast are you looking to go?

Reread the OP. The limiter is shutting the bike down on the dyno before he can get a full run.

Just change a setting in the ECU using the correct dongle and software on a computer.
