Default Polygon Crankpin technology for Twin Cam Flywheels

I came across a company out of Tuckahoe, NY called P3R while looking around on the interweb today. They manufacture twin cam flywheels with a Polygon Crankpin.

Anybody have any experience with these?

How much is that bad boy? Sure is pretty. I see what appears to be the actual rod pin but there web site does not tell how it's locked to their polygon drive.

I'll bet they work well.
We use S&S here.
Years ago an outfit in Tennesee(?) had crank pins and wheel halves in a hexed configuration.

New P3R FlyWheels crank with Carrillo rods

I saw this on the post below where a guy destroyed his S&S and bought one of these P3Rs...

Welding a crankpin is fine if it is done as more than a surface weld. Why not true the wheels, drill and pin the crankpin with a solid pin at the wheel crankpin interface ? Much less expensive than a ~$2000 crank setup.

Do you mean like Hoban Brothers (AKA Darkhorse) does with their Pro Plug? They will only weld a crank at customer request......

I don't know what the Pro Plug is, I'm speaking of a round Woodruff key.
