Default Which Dyno Chart? Want opinions please

Some of you may have seen my old thread https://www.hdforums.com/forum/engin...urve-help.html

Basically I got great peak numbers 104/111 but the graph shape had a decent sized dip in my main riding area. Well I swapped pipes and lost 10hp and tq remained the same. I am not sure what to think I was surprised that much HP was lost but I think overall its a much better curve and probably will feel faster on the butt dyno. Original pipe was akrapovic 2-1 (really short pipe) and I swapped to a d&d stubby cat. I also feel like the stubby cat will be a better pipe in the long run when I decide to do more motor work. I attached both charts and you will see the differences. Looking for your guys opinions on what you think is better. The dip with higher HP or the nicer curve with lower HP I think the nicer chart will be a better overall bike to ride.

Akrapovic

D&D Stubby Cat

Out of the two, I would go with the D&D just because the power is more where you would use it. If I had free reign over pipes, I would look at the Rush Wrath.

Agreed, and agree on the rush wrath heard nothing but positives. Because of my bags I was limited on pipe selections.

D&D has a much better curve. That would be my choice.

The dip on the other pipe at about 3K must be really noticeable when riding.

Now, step the compression up to better support the cam and it'll come around even more.

I wouldn't give house room to that dip! It's slap bang in the rev range most of us spend most of our time riding in. The D&D should be quite a ride! It isn't the HP that you should concentrate on but the torque curve and there is a clear winner.
