Default school me on the CVO 110 motor

Looking at the new lowrider S which comes with the 110 SE motor. What are the differences in these CVO motors vs 103 to 110 kit?

CVO 110" has the school-bus 255 cams.
Carrys about 205-207 psi ccp.
The port ID in the head is 1.750", and the t/body manifold port is just about .100" smaller.
With something as simple as a different cam, and a mild bump in compression along with the proper size t/body, those can really spring to life.

Scott,

Looking to spring my new SG CVO to life. What cam would you use?

Thanks Lee

Set at 10.4 cr, a set of Kury 24D cams would do it.

basicly a bump in compression, matched to cams of your choice.we`ve had very good results with .585 cams,10.0-1 with S&S .570`s is another good choice for a slightly milder build.but theres a number of cams that will drasticly boost a 110`s hp & tq.do your homework & pick a set that will put the power where you want it & match compression to the cam set

As others have noted the 110's benefit greatly from some compression, mild headwork and a cam swap. Here is a 2016 Softail S 110" that we built, we did our Stage 1 CVO head service, installed Wood TW-777 cam, D&D Lowcat 2/1 and tuned it
