Default 2006 superglide 88efi want to upgrade to....

Got a 06 superglide ann. edition last year. Been fun for a while but now I want more out of it. I've read up as much as I could but with somewhat limited knowledge i figured I would try and get some "expert" opinions from people who weren't trying to sell it to me. 88-95 88-103. please be as specific as possible with brand names etc. Ive found over the years the better i can explain what I want the less Ill get ripped off. Want more zip off the line and when i throttle hard want more response.

88-95 is easy but why not 98? 88-103 no can do without pulling lower unit and case boring. How about 88" to 100" with the new 4" drop in cylinders?

Hi from the UK and welcome to HDF. You've asked a very broad question! To be frank there are far too many ways to get more 'zip off the line' than anyone can easily write down as a list. You mention a 95" conversion, which is a good starting point, to which you can add cams, also port your heads, or go even bigger. Each step along the way adds cost, as well as increasing performance. There will come a time when IMHO it is worth talking to a good tuning shop and if you spend a little time in here you will quickly identify a few who are HDF sponsors.

No hard sell here, just a very good suggestion;
Bore to 98"
Andrews 37 cams
Our Stage II Heads
9.8-10.0 cr.
Long proven combo, that will have you smiling.

a good 98" is pretty hard to beat,even in mild form,they`ll do 105+/115+(mild 1.900/1.575 headwork,S&S .570 cams,10.0-1).much more if you get more aggressive with your build
