Many little gremlins could be the issue but you might check the advance unit, they've been known to stick/freeze and cause a boogaboo.

Super 'E' is good, Crane Hi 4 jink (IMO.)

Get a Dyna S contactless point set up and check the jetting on the Super E ( I usually start with .028 intermediate and a .070 Main.)

If solid lifter-equipped, the pushrods may be too tight.

..........and air/idle screw set at 1 1/2 turns out, with the accelerator pump at 3 turns out.
Yep, .295, and a .072 will cover a lot of ground.

I found 3 wire splices in the harness of electronic ign. from nose cone to coil real interesting set up I don't know how it ran at all there is no way I can used this unit again it looks like an older one. I have found so many interesting things on this bike from a 1/2 inch nut loose in primary to a 19mm long socket and Phillips screw driver in seat post. I see a new wiring harness in near future, still for $4000 not bad numbers matching.

Default Wiring problems

The wiring on this bike looks like it is home made nothing matches the manual blade type fuses were installed it a mess. I have fouls that I can get a new harness. Where are the wire boards located?
