Yeah, you got me there. It's the scroll to the bottom of some discussion and drop into a related dead thread.. I hate that.

I've got a carbed TC-88 in my '01 Fatboy. It has the hybrid cam plate upgrade with SE-203 cams. I got a set of 96" heads from a buddy, I'm told they flow better. These heads are off an 09 Electra Glide n have, what I think, are factory electric compression releases. Can I use these or do I need another set w/o the comp releases? If I can use them, how do I remove them n plug the holes? Thanks in advance for any help. Al

You have jumped on a five year old thread; suggest you start your own for better results.

The '96 heads do flow better and will allow the use of cams up to .590" lift; some say .600" but checking for coil bind at that lift should be done before buying .600" lift cams. You can wire the ACRs to the starter or you can plug them and if you want compression releases, you can have the heads prepped for manual compression releases. If you keep static compression below 9.8 with the 203 cams, you shouldn't need compression releases. You will need later intake flanges to fit your intake to the later heads.

As I said, wire to the starter or plug holes and prep heads for manuals; your call. Your '01 is not wired for ACRs.
