120r with Woods TW-999-6 cams
Looking for opinions for this combo
120R crate motor
heads shaved for 10:8:1 compression
Woods TW-999-6 cams
AV&V beehive springs
S&S roller rockers
SE tapered adjustable pushrods
Woods directional lifters
SE 58mm TB. 5.3 injectors
Drago Dragula 2-1
Powervision
Will 91 octane be okay? That's all we got here..

All looks good... I got you at 9.58:1 dynamic with the 999. haven't heard anything good about woods directional's, my choice would be S&S with S&S pushrods as well... Forget about91 octane. 93 would be prefered. Might want to talk to a head porter to make sure the heads will accept the lift. Valve to valve clearance.. Should put you in the 140 tq range....

The OP did not mention addressing the crank which, IMHO, should be a part of the plan. If the Dragula pipe is loud enough, the OP won't be bothered by the valve train noise. I have run the Woods lifters in a couple of 107" motors and they are quiet but have also read the some have had quality issues with those lifters and had to return them and exchange for replacements. Also have run the SE Quick Install Tapered pushrods in several motors with no issues. Haven't run the compression numbers but if 98hotrodfatboy has it right, 9.6 is the top of my range for a street motor and I would be a bit more conservative; 9.3-9.4 corrected and/or 190ccp would be my target but that's just me.
Having said that, I would consider passing on the 120R crate motor and spend a bit more for the "touring" version of the S&S 124.

I have a 2009 CVO Fat Bob with a 120r. I had it rebilt after 20000 miles.
The head's port and polished sub flow head's from Head Hoggers. Darkhorse crank balanced then welded with 4.060 dome pistons12 to 1 compression ratio. The cams are Woods WDP/TW68G-7 with roller rockers. The throttle body is from horse power Inc 58mm HIP-58mf6)18 with 6.2 injectors. Big sucker air cleaner with Vance and Hines stainless HO 2 into1 pipe. Thunder max tuner. I will post the dyno results Wednesday.
