Default Burst air cleaner?

Ok I had the Agitator air cleaner on my bike and yesterday I purchased the Burst air cleaner just cause I like it better. But after installing the Burst cleaner my bike doesn't idle well and seems to be not getting enough air. Hence the gray smoke from exhaust. I was wondering if anyone else had this problem or not. I didn't change anything just swapped air cleaners. I am lost as to what the problem could be. Thanks

Even if the amount of air was measurably different between the two I doubt it would cause that. If it is an oiled filter make sure its not over oiled. You didn't mention if you have a BIG MOTOR BUILD that needs lots of air.

That was my only thought the oiled filter was really oiled up. 2maro I'm gonna clean it and leave it dry with no oil and see if that makes a difference. And no the motor is just a stock 103. I have a 2014 Street Glide Special.

I don't think I did but I'm gonna go back and check everything over really well tomorrow nite when I get home. It just seems odd to me. I mean I'm very mechanically inclined. I wouldn't be tearing apart a motor and rebuilding it cause I don't have the tools to do that. But I can do the easy little things like this. I'm gonna take it all apart tomorrow like I said and check these little things. Thanks for all the thoughts keep them coming if anyone thinks of anything else that may need done in the trouble shooting side.

Id try that and double check your install. After that youll probably be fine. I over oiled mine the first time, more is not better in this case.
