107 kits so many too choose, whats the difference?
107 kits, so many too choose from, whats the difference?. What should I look for in a quality built kit?, bore , coatings, pistons?
I see kits starting from $500-1300 approx. I wanna save a buck, but I don't want to sacrifice reliability or quality? I only want to do this once.
Which to stay away from?.
Should I just piece this out individually?
Thanks in advance for any suggestions.

WE were one of the first shops in the country to start boring the 88"-98" back in 2006, and in 2007 we were boring the 96" to 107".
Wiseco, the worlds largest powersports piston manufacturer supplies us with proprietarty piston/gasket sets.
With happy clients on 4 continents, we'd be happy to lend a hand with a complete kit.

At this point, I think you'd be way ahead thinking of this as a build, rather than a "kit". There's no need for new cylinders, your should work fine. Spend that money on having the heads done, 'cause you've got them off anyway. Follow me so far? Good. You've got the motor half way apart now, and you can have the heads/compression set pretty much anywhere you want, so ask yourself HONESTLY what you want to end up with, and work with your builder on which cams/headwork will suit you best. I know it adds up quick, but in the long run you'll be much money and time ahead, and you'll be REALLY happy with the results. Ask me how I know...
Oh, and BTW, there are some sponsors here that do this ALL THE TIME. Talk to them, and you'll be way ahead.

107" engines combos in single cam since back in the 1990's that constantly, easily, showed 120-5 hp/120-5 ft/lbs in carbed form, 4" stroke T/C combos using Axtell 4 1/8" cylinders, some with S&S Twin-50mm throttle bodys, and now, after 2007, the 4 3/8" crank-equipped engines that allow almost anyone, to simply assemble our proven combinations, right at home.
